Case Studies

Real examples of how we help businesses solve IT problems, from day-to-day support and cloud migration to security and server infrastructure. Each case shows the situation, what we did and the result.

RAID in practice: expanding an array from 8 to 24 TB and replacing a failed drive with zero data loss

Problem: A large accounting and audit firm was running out of server space, and for another client one of the two drives in its RAID arrays started to fail.

Result: We expanded the array from 8 to 24 TB with a RAID1 to RAID5 migration in 1-2 working days and replaced the other client's failed drive. In both cases the server was online 99% of the time with zero data loss.

From Traditional Email Hosting to Microsoft 365: A Seamless IMAP Migration for a Growing Business

Problem: The business had outgrown its traditional email hosting — limited mailbox storage, inconsistent access across devices, and increasingly cumbersome administration as the team grew.

Result: We migrated every mailbox to Microsoft 365 with no disruption to business communication — the old hosting stayed live until the new environment fully took over.

From Infrastructure Chaos to Security Control: How We Automated Patch Management Across a Large Server Environment

Problem: Infrastructure kept growing faster than the maintenance routine — there was always a server that hadn't been updated in months, because manual patching across dozens of machines couldn't keep up.

Result: We built centralized automated enrollment, monitoring and update visibility — a new system no longer means a new manual chore.

Building Reliable Network Infrastructure for a Distributed Logistics Operation

Problem: The client's warehouses sat in industrial areas with only one available ISP — a single outage could isolate a site completely.

Result: We built automatic failover between the primary line and 4G with centralized monitoring — an ISP outage no longer becomes a business outage.

Making Remote Modbus Connectivity Reliable and Transparent

Problem: A direct VPN connection to remote PLCs looked like a clean network design, but connections kept dropping and Modbus communication was unreliable.

Result: We built a transparent tunnel through the existing edge routers with automatic recovery — stable industrial communication with no changes to the applications.

From "Everything Is Fine" to a Secure, Compliant IT Environment: What the Onboarding Audit Revealed

Problem: The client reported no IT problems at all, but our onboarding audit revealed unsupported Windows versions, unlicensed software and real security risks.

Result: We replaced aging hardware, moved to genuine licensing and Microsoft 365, and standardized every workstation — a fully supported and compliant environment.

EOL Software in a Public Environment: How a Postponed Migration Ended in a Compromised Server

Problem: An end-of-life Zimbra mail server was compromised through a publicly disclosed vulnerability, and the whole company lost its email.

Result: We restored the system from an uncompromised backup, removed the vulnerable module and recovered two weeks of lost correspondence. We then migrated the mail to Microsoft 365.
